For the best result, use a photo taken face on, with good lighting, at a high enough resolution that your features are sharp. Heavy makeup or filters, and anything covering the face such as a hat or sunglasses, will reduce accuracy.

The model was trained on thousands of images and performs well, but animal face types are a subjective idea, so there is no meaningful single accuracy figure. The point is to enjoy it.

No. This test is made for fun and has no scientific or medical basis. It takes its inspiration from physiognomy but has grown into a modern, popular cultural idea. Please take the result lightly.

Yes. The image is processed entirely inside your browser and is never sent to or stored on a server. It is discarded as soon as the analysis finishes, so there is nothing to leak.

We do not store your photos or personal data at all. Everything runs locally in your browser, and the result lives only in the current browser session. Refresh or close the page and it is gone.

There are 17 types: puppy, cat, rabbit, deer, fennec fox, lion, tiger, squirrel, squirtle, snake, dinosaur, duck, bear, wolf, horse, monkey and mouse. Each type comes with its own description and personality notes.

Yes. We use two models, each trained separately. Facial features and the way types are distinguished can differ, so separate models give a more reliable result.

Absolutely. The service is built mobile-first and works smoothly on phones and tablets. Open it in a mobile browser and either take a photo or pick one from your gallery.

No, it is completely free. Every feature is available with no limits and no account required, and the core service will stay free.

Yes, as many times as you like. Trying different photos, or coming back later with a new one, is part of the fun.

There is no built-in share button yet, but you can screenshot the result screen and post it to social media or send it in a message. A proper share feature is planned.

Animal face types are subjective, so your own sense of it and the model's reading can differ. Angle, lighting and expression all affect the outcome too. Try another photo, and please take the result as light entertainment.

Check the following: 1) the file is a supported format (JPG, PNG, GIF, WebP), 2) the file is not unusually large, 3) your internet connection is working, 4) try refreshing the page or using another browser. If it still fails, try a different photo.

Most current browsers work, including Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge. Older browsers may not support every feature, so we recommend keeping yours up to date.
