Terms of service

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these terms is to set out the conditions and procedures for using the features the Service provides, together with the rights, obligations and responsibilities of the Service and its users.

Article 2 (Definitions)

The main terms used in these terms are defined as follows.

• "Service" means the Animal Face Test website and related applications.
• "User" means any individual who agrees to these terms and uses the Service.
• "Content" means the text, images, analysis results and explanatory material provided by the Service.
• "Model" means the animal face classification AI model provided on the basis of Google Teachable Machine.

Article 3 (Effect and amendment of the terms)

These terms take effect when posted on the Service or otherwise announced.

The Service may amend these terms where required by law or for operational reasons, and any change is announced on the Service's pages.

If you do not agree to the amended terms, you may stop using the Service and cease using its Content.

Article 4 (Provision and modification of the Service)

The Service provides the following features.

• AI-based facial image analysis and classification into 17 animal face types
• Selection of a classification model by gender, together with an explanation of the result
• Detailed content for each animal face type, including facial features, comparison tables and frequently asked questions
• Informational content such as the guide and the FAQ
• A multilingual interface in Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese and Hindi

The Service may add, change or discontinue the features it provides for technical reasons, scheduled maintenance or operational policy.

Features provided free of charge may be converted to paid features at the operator's discretion following prior notice.

Article 5 (User responsibilities and obligations)

When using the Service you must not do any of the following.

• Upload another person's image or personal data without their consent
• Enter false information or use the Service's features for improper purposes
• Interfere with normal operation of the Service or distribute malware or spam
• Infringe the rights of others, including copyright, publicity rights and personal data rights
• Reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from the Service's Content without permission

You must comply with applicable law, these terms, the usage guidance and any announcements.

Article 6 (Protection of personal data)

The Service operates a separate privacy policy to protect users' personal data; please refer to that policy for details.

Images and input you provide are processed for the purposes and by the methods set out in the privacy policy.

Article 7 (Advertising and external links)

The Service may display advertising in order to operate, and you agree that ads may appear while you use it.

Legal responsibility for services provided on external websites reached through an ad or link rests with those operators, and the Service does not warrant them.

Article 8 (Restriction and suspension of use)

The Service may restrict or suspend your use of the Service in the following cases.

• Where you breach these terms or engage in unlawful conduct
• Where an interruption is unavoidable due to inspection, repair or failure of Service equipment
• Where force majeure occurs, such as a natural disaster, power outage or a fault at a service provider

The Service is not liable for loss of user data arising from a change to or discontinuation of its features, save in the case of intent or gross negligence.

Article 9 (Limitation of liability)

The Service does not warrant the accuracy, reliability or currency of AI analysis results, which are limited to entertainment and informational purposes.

The Service accepts no legal responsibility for images or input provided by users.

The Service is not liable for indirect or incidental damage incurred in connection with features provided free of charge.

Article 10 (Governing law and jurisdiction)

These terms and any dispute relating to use of the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

In the event of a dispute between the Service and a user, the competent court under Korea's Civil Procedure Act or the Seoul Central District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
